BAGGAGE

Privacy Policy

Last updated 17 July 2026

BAGGAGE is a little web app for organising the things you pack and carry. This policy explains what it does with your data. The short version: almost nothing.

Your lists stay on your device

Everything you create in BAGGAGE — your trips, lists, and items — is stored locally in your browser (using your browser's local storage). It never leaves your device and is never sent to a server. There are no accounts and no logins, so there's nothing for me to see, store, or share.

Because your data lives in your browser, clearing your browser data or using a different device or browser means starting fresh. I can't recover lists for you, because I never have them in the first place.

Anonymous analytics

BAGGAGE uses Vercel Web Analytics to get a rough sense of how many people visit and which pages they use. This is privacy-friendly by design: it doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across other websites, and doesn't collect information that identifies you personally. It only records aggregate, anonymous usage.

Supporting BAGGAGE (Buy Me a Coffee)

If you choose to support BAGGAGE with a donation, payments are handled entirely by Buy Me a Coffee and their payment processors (such as Stripe). I never see or store your card or billing details.

Depending on your Buy Me a Coffee settings, I may receive your name (or a pseudonym), email address, and any message you send — used only to say thank you. See the Buy Me a Coffee Privacy Policy for how they handle your payment data.

What I don't do

No accounts. No advertising. No selling or sharing of data. No tracking cookies. I don't collect your name, email, or any personal details, because the app simply doesn't ask for them.

Children's privacy

BAGGAGE isn't directed at children, and it doesn't collect personal information from anyone — including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

If BAGGAGE ever changes in a way that affects your data, I'll update this page and the date at the top.
